Open Access

Open Access Policy

Eman Research is a Gold Open Access publisher, committed to making scholarly literature freely and immediately available online for anyone to read, share, and reuse. To support high-quality peer review and publishing services, we apply Article Processing Charges (APCs) to accepted articles. These charges are covered by authors, their institutions, or funders.

All Open Access articles undergo rigorous peer review by independent external editors. Eman Research supports Open Access to maximize the reach, accessibility, and impact of published research.

Types of Gold Open Access

Eman Research offers three Gold Open Access options:

  1. Author-Paid Open Access: Authors can opt for Open Access by paying an APC of AU$300 (USD $215). Fees are in addition to any other publication charges and apply only after acceptance.

  2. Society-Sponsored Open Access: Some journal issues are supported by academic societies. Subscription pricing reflects only the portion of non-OA content.

  3. Sponsored Content: External organizations may fund full or partial Open Access for select issues or article collections.

All Gold OA articles are published under the Creative Commons CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license. Authors requiring a different license may contact the publisher.

Rights and Reuse

Gold Open Access articles:

  • Are freely accessible online without subscription

  • Can be shared, downloaded, and archived with attribution under the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license

  • May appear in all digital and print formats of the journal

  • Can be uploaded to repositories with proper citation

For commercial reuse or derivative works, permission must be obtained from Eman Research.

Article Types

We accept a wide range of article types, including but not limited to:

  • A-Type: Original Research, Reviews, Methods, Clinical Trials, Hypotheses, Systematic Reviews, Study Protocols

  • B-Type: Brief Reports, Case Reports, Mini Reviews, Policy Briefs, Pedagogical Studies

  • C-Type: Data Reports, Commentaries, Opinions

  • D-Type: Editorials, Book Reviews, Corrections, Concept Notes, Grand Challenge Articles

APC Waiver and Support

Eman Research is committed to equitable access to publishing. We provide:

  • Fee Waiver Program: Full or partial waivers for authors with limited funding. Applications must be submitted during or immediately after manuscript submission via our Waiver Application Form.

  • Institutional Memberships: Partnering with institutions and consortia to cover APCs on behalf of affiliated authors.

Decisions on manuscript acceptance are made independently of waiver applications to ensure fairness and objectivity.

APC Terms and Payment

  • APC: USD $215 per article

  • Payment Timing: Final invoices are issued after article acceptance; payment is due within 30 days

  • Effective Date: Fees apply to all submissions received on or after January 1, 2019 and may be revised periodically

Authors receive a pro forma invoice upon submission to ensure fee transparency.
