Our Story

The idea behind Eman Research Academic began not in a boardroom, but in a laboratory.

In 2008, Dr. Md. Shamsuddin Sultan Khan (Dr. Shams) completed his first research paper while working in an undergraduate laboratory. Like many young researchers entering the world of academic publishing, he expected the process to be challenging—but constructive.

Instead, the experience revealed something troubling about the traditional publishing system.

Reviewer comments were often one-sided and discouraging, sometimes offering criticism without meaningful guidance on how the research could be improved. Communication between authors, reviewers, and editors felt distant, leaving authors uncertain about how to refine their work.

For many early-career researchers, such experiences are not uncommon. Valuable ideas can remain unpublished—not because they lack merit, but because the publishing process does not always foster constructive dialogue.

Dr. Shams began asking a simple but powerful question:

What if scientific publishing could be more collaborative, supportive, and transparent—while still maintaining rigorous academic standards?

That question became the foundation of Eman Research.

Research With Respect. Publishing With Purpose.

At Eman Research Academic (ERA), we believe scientific publishing should empower researchers, not discourage them.
Our mission is to advance science, support authors, and build a more collaborative and equitable scholarly publishing ecosystem.

ERA exists to ensure that research is evaluated fairly, communicated clearly, and shared globally—so that knowledge can benefit society.
