Professor Dr. Shamsul Haque Prodhan is a pioneer in agricultural biotechnology, focusing on food security and environmental sustainability. He is currently working in Department of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh. He leads the team in COVID-19 detection and research, focusing on crop resilience and renewable energy. His research includes developing abiotic stress-tolerant rice varieties, genetic engineering for disease-resistant crops, and enhancing Malta (Citrus sinensis) through innovative biotechnological methodologies. He also leads in-vitro culture techniques for orchid cultivation, offering sustainable solutions. Dr. Prodhan is also a passionate advocate for renewable energy production from biological sources. His dedication and innovative spirit inspire transformative change in agriculture, biotechnology, and renewable energy.
