Scope

Cell Biology Mechanisms is an international, open access, peer-reviewed journal that publishes: Original Research; Reviews; Hypothesis formation and commentaries in the all fields of cell structure and function contributing to normal physiology and cell health and exploring the pathogenesis of cell dysfunction leading to adverse conditions and disease in the organism.

Specific topics covered in the journal include:

• Cell structure including the cytoskeleton,

• Biochemical and immunological processes,

• Receptors and cell communication and signaling,

• Functional properties and control mechanisms,

• Aging and apoptosis,

• Cell dysfunction and pathology,

• Use of antioxidants, cofactors and other agents.

The journal welcomes submitted papers covering original research, basic science, reviews and evaluations, guidelines, expert opinion and commentary, case reports and extended reports.
